Second Earth

Excellent MIT Technology Review article by Wade Roush about Second Life+Google Earth, mentioning Unype on page 10 briefly.

Biggest obstacles to a better experience in Unype right now:
1) Not being able to move/scale/change a KML model once it is inserted into GE ( they can be modified only through a NetworkLink after insertion which has redundancy and latency issues )
2) Need for better street-level navigation support.
3) Lack of Collada animation support in KML.
In time, I expect GE to have multi-user support so plugin writers can focus on other issues.
